Gitta brought in this fabulous lampshade she made using "Mimi" prints. How cute is this?
We love to see what our customers make using fabric from the shop. It's usually quilts, table runners, etc.......but this is our first lampshade!

Betty made this quilt for her 83 year old mom whose battling breast cancer for the second time.
She used "Lady Slipper Lodge" prints by Holly Taylor.
Great job, Betty! We love this quilt and know it will bring comfort to your mom during this very difficult time.

October was "Breast Cancer Awareness" month so, anyone who wore pink to the shop received a free gift.
Each week's free gift changed so, it could be a free fat quarter, pattern or magazine of your choice.
Each week's free gift came with one itty bitty string attached......everyone had to agree to have their picture taken (with their 'pinkness') so I could post it to the blog.

Rosemary stopped by while camping at Roaring River this week. She brought in some yummy projects for "Show and Tell".
Rosemary's "leaf" block is stunning in person. My camera did NOT capture the true colors of this block. Sorry!
Rosemary's other 'show and tell' items were a bowl, pie plate and mug rug she made wrapping strips of fabric around clothesline. How cute are these?

Karen's "Bow Tucks Tote" class was a huge success. This class filled up fast and a good time was had by all!
Some totes were being made as gifts so, not everyone wanted theirs posted to the blog. We totally understand!
