Show and Tell; Pink Oliso irons, Cute As A Button; new patterns and kits

Janet brought in her latest creation.  This quilt started out as a twin size.  After adding several borders it's king size.

Janet's quilt was so big we had to go outside to take the pictures!

Thanks, Janet for bringing in your fabulous quilt!

We received the newest model of Oliso irons a couple of weeks ago.  This model has a 12 foot cord, is 1800 watts and has a 30 minute auto shut-off.

We also have the yellow, blue and gray models in stock.

Oliso.  The only irons with feet.  I love mine!

The big white truck dropped off several boxes yesterday.....drum roll please.....our order of "Cute As A Button" is here.

This collection by Quilting Treasures is a tribute to all things vintage sewing:  old sewing machines, notions, spools of thread, scissors, quilt labels and, of course, buttons!

How cute are these?

Sister Power:  Kay's sister, Mary Ann, flew in from Texas to spend some time together before the Thanksgiving holiday.

They stopped by Thursday afternoon to say 'hi' and do some shopping.  Thanks, Kay for bringing Mary Ann to the shop.  Any sister of yours is a sister of ours!
Kay and Mary Ann stopped by for a visit Thursday

If you love making quick simple gifts as much as we do, you'll love the new mug rug shapes we received this week.

These fusible cut outs are by Bosal...these folks have got some super cute shapes and, they're fusible on both sides.

We sold a bunch of these yesterday so, don't delay. They're going fast!
The big brown truck dropped off several boxes this week.  Inside were some adorable new patterns.

The three patterns pictured below use the Lil Twister Tool which we have in stock.

The pillows, totes and quilt/table runner patterns are super simple to make as gifts for the upcoming holidays.
Twister Pillows, Totes and quilt with table runner patterns

We also received some great new pre-cut patterns. "Boho Chic" uses one layer cake and 15 jelly rolls strips to make this huge quilt.

The "License 2 Quilt" pattern uses Row by Row license plates to make an adorable quilt.

"Top Down" quilt pattern uses a jelly roll to make this latest quilt by Daniela Stout (inventor of the Strip Tube Ruler).

"Twister Waves" table runner kit includes all the fabric to make this very long runner using the Lil Twister Tool.

If you've ever made anything with any of the Twister Tools, you know how addictive "twisting" can be!
