Pillowcases, wall hangings and ornaments, Oh My! Go! cutters: Oliso irons; and other stuff. Oh My My!

Our customers have been very busy! Donna, Susan and Sheila brought in projects for "Show and Tell" yesterday.

Donna D. is quite the connoisseur of pillowcase making. She's made and donated numerous sets to add to the shop's 'disaster' stockpile.

She recently finished seven sets of pillowcases she made as gifts for friends and family (I wonder where she bought all those beautiful fabrics????).

We particularly like the 'man' pillowcases with different fish and fishing lures.

Great job, Donna!  We know your friends and family will LOVE their pillowcases!  Ho! Ho! Ho!

Susan (and her spousal unit, Wes) stopped in yesterday with some items for "Show and Tell".

Susan made this stunning "Pinwheels" table runner using "Richmond Reds" charm pack pieces.  We love how the Pinwheels pop against the super light background.

She also brought a wall hanging made using half square triangles, then quilted it herself!

Susan's third project was another wall hanging she made using scraps left over from a friend's project.

Great job, Susan!  Thanks for driving all the way from Arkansas to show us your latest creations!

Newbie Sheila stopped by yesterday for inspiration for some pillows she's making as holiday gifts.

Sheila hand embroidered motifs on a light background then appliqued one (an old shoe with flowers) onto a coordinating print (vintage thimbles).

The second pillow was the cause of her grief.  She said she couldn't find anything that "screamed" at her to use as the body....that is, until she came to P-Dub's!

Sheila found a print she fell in love with (Thanks, Sharon) to use for her second pillow!

Yippee!  I love it when a plan comes together!

Sometimes, "Secret Sisters" mail their gifts to their 'sister'.  Sometimes, they're left at the shop to be picked up.........which means we get to enjoy all the fun and excitement too!

Pat's "Sister" left something for her while we were open Wednesday.  Pat dropped in yesterday....lured here by the fact something was waiting....just for her.

What was inside? A beautiful card and homemade Christmas tree ornament.  Pat loved it!
