Happy Birthday, USA!

I love the 4th of July.  It's my favorite holiday of the year. Happy Birthday, USA!

Everyone who came to the shop wearing red and white and blue Friday and Saturday received two free fat quarters of their choice.  Some of our customers came back Saturday too!

Not everyone was thrilled to have their picture taken so, some heads have been chopped out of the picture to protect the innocent!

Here goes:
Melba V.

Cathy W.

I don't remember how this is.....

We love it when folks bring their projects for "Show and Tell".

Diane, accompanied by her great-granddaughter Alyssa, brought in the table runner she made from May's shop hop blocks.

We love the runner and, it's red, white, and blue! YIPPEE!!

Thanks, Diane for sharing this gorgeous runner with us!  We love it. Happy Birthday, USA!

Mother-Daughter team of Irene and Sheri made this quilt as a wedding present for Sheri's son who recently got married.  The pattern is called "Roman Square" that Sheri found on the internet.

Thanks ladies for sharing your project with us!

"Secret Sisters" have been very busy. Several 'sisters' received gifts Friday and Saturday:

Pat holds a red, white and blue runner her 'sister' made for her
Vicki's 'sister' gave her two packages of Thangles

Nola's 'sister' gave her a scissors holster and seam ripper!

Kay's 'sister' gave her a handmade potholder

Diane's 'sister' gave her a quilter's tool caddy she made for Diane

Tanya and hubby Dennis picked up two Quilts of Valor while they were here Saturday.

The first quilt is from our shop, the second quilt was made by the quilt guild in Aurora and donated to Q.O.V.

Happy Birthday, USA!
