Show and Tell; Country Road; Quilt Camp; PODS!

Yesterday, Shawn brought in this gorgeous quilt she recently finished.  It was made using a bunch of Kansas Troubles prints so, we automatically fell in love with it!

Shawn made this quilt to donate to the burn unit at Mercy Hospital.  The appliqued hearts on some of the blocks are adorable.

We love Shawn's spirit of giving back and know the recipient of this quilt will treasure it forever.

Great job, Shawn.  This quilt is a masterpiece.

Lora brought in this quilt she made for her son to honor his service in the military.

Lora bought the panels in a Kentucky quilt shop several years ago and was waiting for the right fabric to come along to complete the project.

We love this quilt and bet Lora's son will cherish it forever.

We've been waiting for the arrival of "Country Road" by Holly Taylor since ordering it at market!

Well, the wait is finally over.  Both panels, 16 prints on the bolt and all the pre-cuts arrived this week.

We love the country scenes of the panels and can't wait to make something with this adorable collection.

Six new PODS arrived this week:  "Sister's Choice" table runners; three new Log Cabin table runners; "Rail Fence" quilt and "Log Cabin" table runner PODS.

PODS are pre-cut kits from Maywood Studios.  The quilt PODS include the pre-cut pieces and binding fabric; the table runner kits include all the pre-cut pieces, backing and binding fabrics.

PODS are great for beginners since all the work is already done.  The fabrics coordinate, the pieces are already cut and the instructions are beginner friendly.
Which POD will you make first?

I squealed like a little girl when we opened this box courtesy of the big brown truck:  a bolt of "Quilt Camp" on blue featuring vintage campers.

I love love love this collection.  The panel is adorable, the companion prints are adorable but the main prints of this collection are beyond cute.

I'd love to have an apron of the print pictured below. How cute are these vintage campers?

The panel could be cut into individual blocks for hot pads, borders for a pillowcase or apron pockets.

I can't wait to make something with these prints. YIPPEE!!!

I've fallen behind making pillowcases using new fabric arrivals....until last weekend.

I made this pillowcase using "Oak Haven" prints....the latest collection by Kansas Troubles.

I have several more pillowcases cut out so, stay tuned....I'll post pictures as I get them finished.
