Happy New Year!

The shop has been a flurry of activity the past couple of weeks.  We've had lots of "Show and Tell" and a bunch of new arrivals.

Lynn May made this "Bundle of 12" top as a shop sample.  This pattern uses 12 fat quarters and yardage to make this adorable quilt.

We chose 1930's prints.  Be sure to check it out the next time you're here.

Thanks, Lynn for making a gorgeous sample.

We love Stonehenge Gradations by Northcott.  We received six colors of "Brights" pre-cuts:  Sunglow; Rain Forest; Lagoon; Indigo; Amethyst and Hibiscus.

We were pleasantly surprised by the arrival of a new adult coloring book:  "The New Hexagon Coloring Book" by Katja Marek.  YIPPEE!! Something new to color--hexagons!
Katja Marek's new coloring book...YIPPEE!!

We love PODS.  PODS are pre-cut kits made exclusively for Maywood Studios.  They offer table runners and quilt kits.

The table runner PODS include the backing and binding; the quilt PODS include the binding fabric.

We received three new 1930's PODS:  two Log Cabin table runners and a Rail Fence table runner. YIPPEE!!!

PODS are great for beginners or for those 'mindless' sewing days.

The fat quarter bundles of Summer Breeze IV finally arrived.  These are a great addition to the other pre-cuts we have of this super yummy collection.

We also have all 25 prints on the bolt.  This collection is already "out of stock" at the warehouse so, don't wait too long.  When it's gone, it's gone and cannot be re-ordered.

The much anticipated arrival of Bonnie Hunter's new ruler, The Essential Triangle Tool, is over.  It finally arrived during the holidays.

This is the ruler she uses in her new book, "Addicted to Scraps" which came awhile back.

We have a very limited supply of these so, don't delay....they're going fast.

We love anything that makes our quilting lives easier.

The arrival of these mug rug shaped (double sided fusible) interfacing pieces will be handy when making our next batch of mug rugs.

We also received several AccuQuilt dies:  Double Wedding Ring; Dresden Plate and several strip dies.

It might be Winter but the camping craze has not slowed down one bit.

Anything associated with camping is all the rage these days so we were thrilled when this "Glamping" pattern (by Coach House Designs) arrived.

When Vicki and I saw this next collection we knew we had to have it.  "Shop Hop" by Henry Glass Studios is a scream.

This collection offers a panel and several prints including the border prints.

Just imagine you and your girlfriends having a blast shop hopping.  This collection depicts (almost) every aspect of the experience.

The fabric in the last two pictures are much brighter than my camera could capture.

How fun is this collection?  I laugh every time I walk by the panel and notice something different.

We were blessed with visits from some of our four legged customers over the holidays.

We love it when fur kids visit.  We especially love it when fur kids bring their friends...which happened this week.

Two of our December 22nd gift certificate winners stopped by to cash in on their winnings!

Congratulations, Dawn Dixon and Linda Moreland. We hope you had fun spending your gift certificates.

We had oodles and oodles of "Show and Tell" this week. We love it when folks bring in their creations (regardless of where they bought their fabrics).

Janet Ballard started the week off by bringing in three stunning tops (these were much prettier in person).

Thanks, Janet for bringing these in.  We love them.

Janet's aunt, Eleanor, also brought in something for "Show and Tell".  Eleanor had just picked this quilt up from the quilter and wanted to share it with us.

The quilter used stars and flags with red, white and blue thread for this very patriotic quilt.

Thanks, Eleanor for sharing this with us. We love it.

We get very excited when little ones bring in their stuff.  Nine year old Kailee Stringer brought in this block she made all by herself.

We're super thrilled to see someone so young get an early start on her quilting addiction!

Thanks, sweetie pie Kailee for sharing your very first block with us.  We wish you many years of quilting.

Teri stopped by with a bunch of stuff for "Show and Tell":  baby blankets and crib sheets she made for family members and a pillow made by her great grandmother.  Wow!

Thanks, Teri from bringing these in.  We love seeing what folks make for other people!

Karla stopped by for backing fabrics which I used as an opportunity to take pictures of her stuff.  Wow! We love the colors Karla chose for these tops.
Thanks, Karla for letting me take pictures of your stuff....as if you had a choice!
