Sharp stuff, Secret Sisters gifts, Quilts of Valor and Jenna!

Merrilee brought in the quilt she recently finished.  This queen size beauty is made with Kansas Troubles charm packs and KT jelly rolls for the borders!  I wonder where she bought those beautiful prints!

Great job, Merrilee.  We LOVE your quilt!

Lynn's Secret Sister left a little something to help celebrate her birthday (November 9th).

Lynn collects tea pots so, her S/S gave her a teapot set and Lenox teapot ornament.  How cute is this?

Joann stopped by Saturday to drop off her Quilt of Valor and discovered her Secret Sister had also left something for her:  a sack of candy and fuzzy pink cozy!

Kay S. dropped off her finished Quilt of Valor this weekend.  Hers has a red outer border with navy binding.

Joann also brought in her finished Quilt of Valor.  She sewed her strips together in a different formation resulting in a "Chevron" look.

We love Joann's quilt.  She also volunteered to make all the presentation cases for this round of Q.O.V.

Thanks ladies for helping us give back to a deserving soldier!

Scott Chisholm from "A Finer Edge" was in the shop sharpening scissors, knives and Asian cutlery.

Scott will be back in January if you need something sharpened.

Eight year old Jenna brought in her project for "Show and Tell".....her initial appliqued onto a solid green background.

She hasn't decided whether to make it into a pillow, wall hanging or something for her room.

Keep up the good work, Jenna.  Great job!
