Side Tie Totes; In-R-Form; Secret Sisters and lots of new stuff!

Karen's "Side Tie Tote" class was a great success yesterday.  Jo, Dorothy, Sandy and Sharon each completed their tote just in time for "Show and Tell".

Karen will be teaching this class again in April if you'd like to make your own super cute tote (or for the quilter in your life).

Great job Jo, Dorothy, Sandy and Sharon! We love your totes.

Sherry stopped by yesterday and brought her version of a "Side Tie Tote" she'd previously made. She wanted to show Karen's class the smaller version of the tote they were making.

We love Sherry's smaller version too!  It's so cute!

While she was here, Sherry also showed us the small runner she recently made using leftover scraps from other projects.  When she was finished with the top, she quilted it using her sewing machine.

This is no small feat for Sherry.  The first time we met her she proclaimed to be 'just a stitcher, not a quilter' because she loves doing hand embroidery.

We love Sherry's runner and think she did a great job quilting it.

Both Fed Ex and the big brown trucks were here this week.  They left lots of boxes full of nifty new stuff!

We received a bunch of Go! cutter dies; Quick Curve Ruler patterns; new jelly rolls;  6 bolts of "Token of Friendship" prints by Kansas Troubles, two sizes of In-R-Foam Plus; and Soft and Stable Project Packs in white and black.

Whew!  That's a lot of stuff!

The shop's mascot, Miss Gracie and her human, Vicki, stopped by yesterday.  Gracie really is our door greeter, welcoming everyone who comes in while she's here.

While they were here, Vicki received a gift certificate from her Secret Sister for one yard of fabric from the shop (which she immediately used) and Gracie greeted our customers!

This round of Secret Sisters will soon be coming to an end.  Not everyone can make it to the banquet so, we arranged a mini reveal party yesterday at the shop.

Vicki has been Nola's Secret Sister for the past six months but can't make it to the party on Valentine's Day.

Yesterday, Vicki 'revealed' her identity to Nola yesterday with a gift certificate to the shop.

JoAnn and Kay also received gifts from their Secret Sisters yesterday:  JoAnn received a hand embroidery pattern and stamped linen; Kay received a gift certificate to the shop.
