Frivols; new books; more coloring books and "Show and Tell"

We received a bunch of new stuff this week.  Our second shipment of Frivols arrived; we received more coloring books and the much anticipated "Hawthorn Ridge" prints (and pre-cuts) are here.

"Frivols" #6 is now in stock.  Each collectible tin
(4 1/2" x 7 1/2") includes (42) 7"x7" prints, a block pattern with instructions; a quilt pattern for creating a sampler quilt from all 12 Frivol collections and a 'surprise' in each tin.  All fabric is 100% cotton.

This month's Frivol is "Strawberry Fields" by Fig Tree Quilts.

We have a very limited number of Frivols so, get them before we sell out.

We received four nifty books this week:  "Fat Quarter Bags" is full of tote patterns using just six fat quarters per tote.

"All About Strips" is filled from cover to cover with fantastical patterns using different size strips to make gorgeous quilts.

"Inspired by Tradition" has 50 applique blocks in five different sizes.  This book also includes a CD of each pattern.

"Pieced Hexied Deux" is the latest book by author Mickey Depre for the English Paper Piecing addicts of the world!

I assumed the adult coloring book craze would slow down to a dull roar but, I was wrong.

The shop's 'adult coloring book' section was looking a little bare so, I had to order more!

We received 10 new coloring books this week including the "Secret Garden Artist's Edition" by Johanna Basford.

I decided to take pictures of all the coloring books we have after looking at last week's post.  OOPS!!  It was very difficult to see all of them so, I'll try this again!

We have almost 40 different coloring books to choose from: animals; quilt blocks; inspirational; flowers; mandalas; and other nifty stuff.

Some coloring books are on card stock while others are heavy paper; some have perforated pages, some don't.

We also received a new shipment of gel pens so, hopefully we won't sell out of them anytime soon!

We received four bolts and all the pre-cuts of "Hawthorn Ridge" by Jan Patek.  I forgot to take a picture of the fourth bolt....OOPS!

These prints are gorgeous and would make a fabulous quilt.

Kendra, her hubby John and Pepper (their four legged kid) stopped by Wednesday for "Show and Tell".

Kendra brought the two quilts she previously shared with us but.......they're now quilted and bound.

Thanks, Kendra for sharing your creations with us!
