Secret Siblings; Oliso winner; Adult Coloring Books; Show and Tell; new Go! cutter dies

With all the holiday festivities, I've fallen behind posting stuff to the blog.

A lot has happened in the last two weeks.  We received a bunch of new stuff; had lots of fun and gave away some nifty gifts.

Dorothy received this adorable washcloth from her 'secret sibling' before the holidays.

Etta Nesbitt was the winner of the Oliso iron.  Etta was so excited she won, she came the next day to pick it up.

Congratulations, Etta.  We know you'll love your Oliso.

I read a quote that said "adult coloring is the white- hot rage spreading throughout the country."  I believe it.

We've already sold out of some of the coloring books we had but received a big shipment last week.

We now have almost 30 different adult coloring books to choose from.

We also have gel pens sets and special markers if you don't want to use crayons.

the latest issue of  "Easy Quilts"

Cheryl brought in this adorable quilt she recently made using pinwheels for the borders and wonky stars as the focal point.

Cheryl appliqued a lullaby between the center and outer border.

Thanks, Cheryl for sharing this adorable quilt with us.

Kendra also shared some of her projects for "Show and Tell".  One of the quilts is from the cover of a recent "Easy Quilts" magazine.

Wow!  this quilt is truly stunning in person.

Kendra's second quilt features greyhounds appliqued on different colored squares with appliqued greyhounds on the backing too.

Kendra plans to quilt both of these on her long arm quilting machine.

I asked (more like begged) her to bring them back when they're finished.

Thanks, Kendra for bringing in these fabulous quilts.

We now have the latest issue of "Block" magazine in the shop too!

We enjoyed "open sew" last week.  Sharon, Dorothy and Jamie brought projects to work on.

The "New Arrivals" section of the shop doubled as a design wall for one of the projects Sharon was working on.

We love the "Lady Slipper Lodge" scrap bags Sharon used.  This will be shop sample in the near future.

"Girl Power"!  What a way to spend the day: shopping with friends during a fabulous sale!

Thanks for coming to the shop, ladies.  You were a boat load of fun!

We've re-arranged the shop to display the
AccuQuilt dies we have in stock.

Our goal is to put all the dies on the wall so we have more floor space.

We aren't quite there yet so, please be patient with us while we get everything organized.

"Butterfly" and "Owl" dies that came in last week.

Our "adult coloring book" section is growing by leaps and bounds!

Soon, we'll have a magazine rack specifically for all the coloring books we have.

Until then, they're all on the big table in the shop.
