Sandy, Gitta and Jacey's stuff

Sandy V. has been busy making pillowcases...again.... and.....she made a tote with the leftovers!

Notice the "butterflies on cream" accent pieces on her projects.  It's from 108" backing fabric she's used on several quilts.

How cute is this?

Gitta V. emailed pictures of her latest projects.  Three quilts she made for very different reasons:

Gitta made this quilt from a friend's late Grandfather's clothes for a memory quilt.  Gitta's friend then gave the quilt to her Grandmother as a birthday present.

What a precious way to be surrounded by someone that's passed.

Gitta made this t-shirt quilt as a fundraiser for the "Kiss a Pig Gala" in Northwest Arkansas.  All the money raised goes to the American Diabetes Association.  How cute is this?

Great job, Gitta.  Love the ragging on this quilt.

Gitta made this quilt from old sweaters.  Wow!  I bet it's really warm!

Thirteen year old Jacey dropped by yesterday to show us her very first quilt (you might remember Jacey from the December 8th post of her first project EVER of the handkerchief pillow she made).

Jacey made this quilt for her bed. She said it was "a lot of fun" to make and "wants to make more".  She decided to tie her quilt so she could start using it immediately!

We're so proud of you, Jacey!  You did a great job. We can't wait to see what you make in the future.
Jacey's very first quilt.  Great job, Jacey!
