Pillowcases for Oklahoma tornado victims

P-DUB’S QUILT STUFF

12203 STATE HWY 76

EXETER, MO 65647

NEW HOURS: EVERY Saturday (closed August 31st and December 28th).

HOURS: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Calling all quilters/sewers: Next Saturday, June 1st, we’ll be making pillowcases for the Oklahoma tornado victims at the shop.  This is a shout out to anyone who would like to volunteer...for the entire day, part of the day or just for an hour.
The shop will provide all the fabric for the pillowcases but ask that you bring your sewing machine and basic sewing supplies (we have two Bernina machines in the shop).  If you have fabric you would like to donate, please bring it with you.  We will use it.  It takes 3/4 yard of fabric for the body of the pillowcase, 1/4 yard for the cuff and one 2 1/2" strip for the accent piece.
If you don’t know how to sew but would still like to volunteer, we will need help cutting fabric, pinning the pieces together, pulling the cases inside out, cutting accent strips, ironing.........there's always something to do!
Sweetness said he'll make lunch for everyone (but potluck side dishes are always welcome!).  I’m not saying he’s making lasagna, but I’m not saying he isn’t!!!
If you can’t come on Saturday but would like to donate fabric, please email us. We will not turn down any usable fabric. I really want to have 100 pillowcases at the end of business next Saturday.
I’m very excited about doing this for the tornado victims of Oklahoma.
See you Saturday,
P-Dub and Sweetness
